The proprietary flute design allows the bur to work in two modes:
- Cutting Mode (clockwise rotation) at 800-1500 RPMs
- Densifying Mode (counterclockwise rotation) at 800-1500 RPMs
- Laser markings to indicate depth at 3, 5, 8, 10, 11.5, 13, 15, 18, and 20mm
